Episode 198: From Vision to Execution: How Great Teams Bring Big Ideas to Life with Erin Woody

What separates teams that simply stay busy from teams that consistently deliver amazing results? On this episode of The Future of Teamwork, Dane Groeneveld interviews Erin Woody, Founder and Executive Coach at Two Cats and a Palm Tree, a coaching and consulting practice. Erin’s storied resume also includes titles such as Vice President of Marketing, Culture & Entertainment at Red Bull and Senior Vice President of Music at On Location Experiences.

From defining roles and responsibilities to improving communication and aligning around a shared purpose, Erin shares practical ways leaders can reduce friction, build trust, and help teams move faster together. Dane and Erin also explore why great leaders create the right “container” for success, how external customer needs can unite teams, and what key element leads to better collaboration and better outcomes.

Finally, Dane and Erin unpack how leaders can empower teams without micromanaging, why clearly defining success leads to stronger accountability, and how a few thoughtful coaching questions can uncover hidden roadblocks before they derail progress.

Whether you’re leading a small team or a global organization, this conversation offers actionable insights for turning vision into execution while building healthier, more effective teams.
