Episode 133: Coaching That Scales: What Teams Really Need with Francie Jain

In this episode of The Future of Teamwork, Dane Groeneveld sits down with Francie Jain, founder of Terawatt, to explore how coaching can transform organizations. Francie explains how Terawatt’s coaching model helps teams build stronger communication, reduce burnout, and create more supportive workplace cultures.

Dane and Francie highlight the growing demand for coaching for people in transition, how a coach is more effective for growth than chatting with friends and family, and how Francie envisions a future where companies offer professional development stipends for opportunities like coaching.

Guest Bio

Francie believes supporting people to achieve their potential creates ripple effects in every community. After a career in alternative asset marketing (matchmaking for hedge funds), she became obsessed with the lack of professional support for individuals at crossroads. She founded Terawatt to make it easy to be great.

Terawatt is Francie’s third for-profit endeavor. Before Terawatt, Francie founded a community that helped people with career change, Nxt Chptr, and before that, a third party marketing consultancy, West River Partners, that raised capital for Emerging Markets-based equity hedge funds. During her career in alternative asset management marketing, Francie raised nearly half a billion dollars of institutional capital.

Francie is a graduate of Princeton University (A.B.) and The University of Chicago Booth School of Business (M.B.A.).
